Writing Contest
October is National Book Month. To celebrate, Charger Ink is hosting our very own writing contest! Judged by Ms. Steffek, this contest is a way to show creativity and a love for words. Here’s how to enter:
Write anything you want! It must be fiction and 500 words or less, but the plot, genre, and everything else is up to you!
MAKE SURE that your writing is a Google Doc.
Email your submission to [email protected].
Submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, October 28th at 4:00pm, and the winners will be announced through the school newspaper.

Remember, this writing contest only has TWO rules—it must be fiction, and it must be 500 words or less. The subject, plot, and everything else is 100% up to you. So have fun with it! Make it personal, or about somebody you never met; set it right here in Boerne, or a planet billions of lightyears away; make it several paragraphs long or just a few lines. It’s up to you.
To win, follow the guidelines and make sure your writing is well thought out, entertaining, and mostly age-appropriate. The winner will have their writing published in the school newspaper.
